What are the benefits that natural ingredients provide to Color Therapy?
Color Therapy is the result of an exclusive concentrate of natural ingredients, such as Shea Butter, Coconut Oil and Citrus Fruits that, together, bring softness, extreme shine and protection for hair color.
How do pigments work?
The Color Therapy Blue Violet anti-yellow effect formula combines violet and blue pigments to neutralize and nuance yellowish tones in hair. On the other hand, the Color Therapy Anti-brass anti-orange effect formula contains blue pigments that have the same function regarding unwanted orange tones in hair, which are all the result of color's photo-oxidation.
For which type of hair is Color Therapy recommended?
Color Therapy Blue Violet is recommended for gray and white, natural or dyed blond hair; with highlights, illumination or a balayage. On the other hand, Color Therapy Anti-brass is ideal for chestnut and chocolate brown, natural or dyed dark blonde hair; with highlights, illumination or a balayage.
What are sulfates and what are their effects on hair?
Sulfates are harmful elements that are added to shampoos' and other hair products' conventional formulas that act as detergents to generate lather that "cleanses" hair. Far from damaging the look of it, what they do is that they remove hair's natural grease, causing possible irritation, dryness, Keratin elimination; and, on dyed hair, they also produce loss of color. This makes the hair fiber more sensitive and, as a consequence, hair care has to increase.
What are parabens?
They are preservatives to extend shampoo's lifetime; most parabens that are used are artificial and come from petroleum. Parabens not only irritate skin, they also affect the scalp, generating possible hair loss.
What is gluten and what are its effects?
Gluten is a protein present in different foods such as barley, wheat, rye, etc. Gluten can be found not only in food, but also in personal care products such as conventional shampoos and conditioners, and it is unfavorable for people that suffer from gluten intolerance, meaning people with the celiac disease. At Kativa, we care for people's well-being and we prevent any discomforts by avoiding gluten in our products.
